Noodles With Meatballs (Sotanghom Bola-Bola)

Ingredients:
  • 1 Pound Ground Pork
  • 1 Small Onion -- finely chopped
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1 Small Onion -- thinly sliced
  • 2 Cups Chicken Stock
  • 1 Pound Bean Thread Noodles
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 3 Medium Green Onions -- finely chopped
Procedure:
  • Combine pork, onion, egg, flour, salt and pepper.
  • Form into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Saute garlic and onion in oil until brown.
  • Add broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add meatballs and cook until done.
  • Soak noodles in hot water until soft.
  • Add to meatballs and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Season with soy sauce and more pepper.
  • Sprinkle with green onions and serve.
